The entire second basement floor of the Eastern Building and a large section of the Main Building\u2019s second basement floor will be redone in six stages. The butchery counter will open on Apr. 23 before the rest of the other shops, and the entire renovation is expected to be finished by late September. Daimaru has invested \u00a51 billion in the renewal and anticipates a 20% increase in sales volume. One of the new tenants, who will open during the third stage of the renovation work, will be an antenna shop for Hita City (Oita Pref.).
