The company aims to put the knowledge and experience it has gained in condo and housing development to use in the growing markets of Southeast Asia. This would be the real estate unit\u2019s first expansion overseas. President Kuratomi also discussed a new hotel scheduled to open in Seoul, Korea next summer: \u201cThe entire Nishitetsu Group is forging ahead with overseas ventures\u2014not just the hotel unit, but the real estate unit as well. Later in the interview, he added, \u201cNo matter where we go, our concept of providing compact, well-built housing will not change.
