To promote the Hakata Jidori brand of chicken developed by the Chikushino-based Fukuoka Agricultural Research Center, a council of Prefectural Office staff and consumers has teamed up with Chikushino City to create Chikushino Kara-age. The fried chicken is being sold on a trial basis at the so-called antenna shop in JR Futsukaichi Station until 5\/31. The Fukuoka Agricultural Research Center developed Hakata Jidori to suit mizutaki, a local Fukuoka delicacy, and it is typified by a flavorful taste and firm texture. The fried chicken, which is flavored with Chikushino\u2019s own Ebisu Soy Sauce and Tenbai Miso, went on sale on 4\/21 for \u00a5300 per 100 grams.
