Students who start a business or find a job in the city after graduation will not be required to repay the loans. This is the first such initiative launched by a municipality in Japan, and the aim is to steadily retain young talent for the area. Every year, five students will be selected to receive a one-time payment of \u00a51.2 million yen, and the first candidate will be chosen this June. The fund will be operated in cooperation with the  Yokatopia Foundation.
