The City will install 2,000 bicycle parking spaces and designated the entire district as a no bicycle parking zone. It will also cart away illegally parked bikes at night. Some herald the move as a step in the right direction to protect pedestrians, but others who work in Nakasu have expressed concern about the move. \u201cThe bicycle parking area is poorly lit and scary,\u201d said a 28-year old restaurant worker. \u201cThe City should enact anti-crime measures to make the streets safe to walk at night,\u201d added a 29-year old hostess.
