The eight pre-selected farmers in the running vary in age from 26 to 34 years old and come from four prefectures of Kyushu including Fukuoka and Miyazaki. A special website created for the contest is updated daily, including posts about the eight contestants\u2019 feelings towards agriculture and farming &#8211; expressing their unique personalities and characters. Photos, profiles, and each farmer\u2019s introductory catch phrases are posted on the company\u2019s Facebook account, where anyone can vote for their favorite farmer. Voting for \u201cKyushu Mura Boys Collection 2014\u201d runs until Apr. 19 and results will be released on Apr. 30.The top three contestants will be rewarded with promotional pages on \u201cMurakore Ichiba\u201d introducing their agricultural products.
