Going forward, Souseikai plans to open 30 facilities in China in a joint venture with a Chinese company. China\u2019s population is aging rapidly, and expectations are high for Japanese social welfare corporations to bring their wealth of knowledge to the Chinese market. Souseikai has invested 30 million yuan (about \u00a5510 million) to purchase an old school and renovate it into a 250-270 bed facility that will open in June 2014.
