The increased fares will be proposed to the Fukuoka City council this month and are expected to be implemented by April 2014. The fares for adults (currently \u00a5250 ~ \u00a5360) and children (currently \u00a5160 ~ \u00a5180) will both increase by \u00a510; the One Day Pass (currently \u00a5600 weekdays, \u00a5500 weekends and holiday) will increase by \u00a520. Monthly tickets will increase too. The \u201cOtonari Kippu\u201d one station ticket, however, will remain at \u00a5100.
