The volunteers aged 13~67 years old come from two local groups &#8211; \u201cLove Green No Tsubasa\u201d and \u201cKodomo No Mori Workcamp\u201d. They departed Fukuoka on Aug. 16, and will stay in Ranong Province, Thailand, until Aug. 21. Mr. Matsunaka, a popular player of the local Fukuoka Softbank Hawks baseball team, has been supporting the project with donations for the past four years. His wife recently attended a ceremony for the volunteer teams in his place, passing a volunteer team flag and Hawks uniform signed by Mr. Matsunaka to the team leader to take as souvenirs to Thailand.
