Omu stopped making Omu Ringo at the end of last year, so fans are happy to see their favorite \u201capple milk\u201d make a comeback. Apple milk first went on sale in 1963 and sold 2,000 cartons daily at its peak. Rakuno Ringo, which will be produced for a limited three-month run, was approved by Omu but will use an original recipe developed by the Dairy Farmers\u2019 Association. Cartons will retail for \u00a5180 and remain on the shelves until late October. The Dairy Farmers\u2019 Association will decide whether or not to continue producing the beverage based on sales.
