It will be the largest refurbishment of the complex since Solaria Plaza opened in 1989. Changes include: the second basement level will open new \u201czakka\u201d shops, a grocery shop and the complex will be made to connect to the Tenjin Chikagai; a new escalator will connect B2F~2F on the Iwataya side; the windows will be renovated on the Kego Park side; the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel lobby will be moved to the sixth floor; and the bathrooms on B1F, and 4F~6F will be expanded to 1.5 their current size. The renovations are slated to cost approx. 6 billion yen, and expected to be finished by 2015.
