Yesterday, Weather Map Co., Ltd. released their forecast for the 2013 cherry blossom (sakura) season in Japan. According to the forecast, sakura will begin to bloom slightly earlier compared to 2012, due to a mix of unpredictably cold and warm weather conditions over Feb. and Mar. this year. <\/p>\n

According to the forecast, Japan\u2019s first sakura trees to blossom this year will be in Kochi Pref. (Shikoku). Meanwhile, Kyushu\u2019s sakura season is expected to begin in Fukuoka and Nagasaki on March 23.<\/p>\n

2012 Cherry Blossom Forecast – Kyushu<\/strong>
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2022 In Fukuoka, sakura will begin to bloom on March 23, 2 days later than average and 4 days earlier than last year. Full bloom is expected on March 31.
\n\u2022 Saga\u2019s sakura will begin to bloom on March 25, with full bloom around April. 3.
\n\u2022 Nagasaki\u2019s sakura will begin to bloom on March 23, with full bloom around April. 2.
\n\u2022 Oita\u2019s sakura will begin to bloom on March 24, with full bloom around April. 1.
\n\u2022 Kumamoto\u2019s sakura will begin to bloom on March 24, with full bloom around April. 2.
\n\u2022 Miyazaki\u2019s sakura will begin to bloom on March 24, with full bloom around April. 2.
