Some areas that felt the quake include Amakusa and Ashikita in Kumamoto Prefecture, and the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture. In Sendai, where the Sendai Nuclear Power Plant is located, the earthquake measured 3.0. No damage has been reported anywhere.
