The move is to offset the decline in public works projects in Kyushu with work related to the rebuilding of the Tohoku-area prefectures affected by last year\u2019s disaster. The Nishinippon Shimbun reports that of the companies heading north, three are major companies based in Fukuoka and one is based in Kagoshima.
