Construction will begin this summer with the aim of opening in Spring 2019. Approximately 4,800 passengers a day are expected to use the station. The two-storey station building will cover 420 square meters and will include offices, ticket gates, restrooms, and a free overpass connecting the south and north sides of the station. The cost of the station building is estimated at \u00a5940 million while the passageway is set to cost \u00a5430 million. When added to the cost of creating a plaza in front of both exits and improving road access to the station, the total estimate is set at \u00a52.5 billion. The city has organized an association to promote the construction together with local organizations and has collected contributions to help with costs.
