Fukuoka Foodies held its first event on Nov. 29 (Sun.), 2015 and invited 30 people of 15 different nationalities to enjoy a fabulous full course lunch including Japanese Wagyu beef \u2013 for FREE! The event, held at Tenjin Bar 209<\/a>, was a great success, with everyone eager to sign up for future dining experiences with Fukuoka Foodies. <\/p>\n

The decadent menu included…
\n\u2022 An assortment of hors d’oeuvres:
\nBagna c\u00e0uda with Itoshima vegetables
\nParma ham (imported from Italy) and grissini
\nJapanese sea bass carpaccio from the Genkai Sea
\nRoasted Kuroge Wagyu beef
\n\u2022 Spaghetti with homemade pancetta and tomato sauce
\n\u2022 Char-grilled Hokkaido Kuroge Wagyu beef
\n\u2022 Creamy panna cotta<\/p>\n

There were also unlimited drinks at the open bar, including wine, beer and cocktails. <\/p>\n
