Opened on July 28 is The Ship, an authentic Irish pub with a Victorian style planned by no less than a Guinness Beer-certified designer. Owner and yachtsman Hosaka thought of opening a family-operated pub in his hometown of Fukuoka after being charmed by the public houses (pub for short) when he was in England. The eye-catching red exterior will draw you inside the approximately 46sqm pub with a wooden counter, standing bar, and cozily set-up tables.
