For the fifth consecutive year, Fukuoka will be celebrating the Festa di Spumante at Fukuoka City Hall. Forty-five different kinds of sparkling wine from 10 different countries will be available for your enjoyment. Conveniently select them according to their flavor profiles (dry, fruity, sweet, and more) with one booth dedicated to varieties tailored for fabulous Instagram photos. I tried one with gold flakes in it and had a brief pauper to prince moment. A non-alcoholic selection exists if you want to relive the childhood experience of swirling a glass of Martinellis at the Thanksgiving table. Also if Spumante isn’t your thing, beer and highballs are available too. So whether you are a seasoned sommelier or just an enthusiastic layman, there is sure to be something to your liking.<\/p>\n

Nine different restaurants offer a great selection of savory treats to nibble on. From what I saw, they’re all winners. Mouth-watering burgers, pasta dishes and karaage fried short ribs are just a small part of what’s available. There’s even a soft cream truck to top it all off. So get some food in your belly to balance out all those lovely bubbles upstairs. <\/p>\n
