Himeshima, or Princess Island, is just a 16 minutes ride by boat from Kishi Port, this tiny island hosts picturesque rocky shoreline and rustic shermen village, perfect for a calm and peaceful getaway. This lovely island is not to be missed when you visit Itoshima!<\/p>\n

You can also play with adorable cats which are everywhere on the island.<\/p>\n

Himeshima is a nice place for evening strolls and to enjoy the view of Itoshima from afar.<\/p>\n

Other activities to do on the island are visiting the cabin where Edo Period poet Nomura Motoni was exiled to and paying respects to the Himeshima Jinja.<\/p>\n
