Space is a luxury on this island nation. That’s why it’s always a treat when you find a place that really lets you stretch out your wingspan. Bijou’s layout is very different from anything else in town. There is the main DJ stage is front and center of the dance hall with a standing bar in the back. All of this is then surrounded by extensive VIP spaces including a super-exclusive Secret VIP that is only available to Gold and Diamond members so don’t even bother you peasant.<\/p>\n

VIP areas range from Pink VIP to the super Secret VIP. Pink VIP which is located away from the stage will cost \u00a515,000 or \u00a520,000 depending if you get the 4 or 5 seat option. The 4-seat option comes with a bottle of Pompadour and a snack plate, \u00a57,500 for an hour extension. The 5-seat option comes with two bottles of Pompadour and a snack plate, \u00a510,000 for an hour extension. For the VIP seating which is located around the stage, there are several options from 5 seats up to 11 seats with a price range from \u00a530,000 to \u00a550,000 for 2 hours (plus 10% service charge.) These come with either Bijou sparkling wine or a Red Bull set and a dessert plate or a snack plate. For the VVIP, which is located in the upper row away from the stage, you have 5 to 8 seat options ranging from \u00a530,000 to \u00a540,000 for 2 hours. The arena is very reminiscent of Thunderdome if Max and Master Blaster were trading dance moves instead of blows from a chainsaw. They have spent top dollar on lighting and audio equipment with a high-quality Pioneer sound system when things get underway it is truly a sight to see. Bijou has a stable of resident DJs playing a wide range of club music but they are also constantly having events that you can find on their website or Instagram (bijou_fukuoka) so you can always expect something different each time you come. <\/p>\n

You will need some booze to stomach this heavy scene. Thankfully they have a comprehensive and affordable menu. Their top sellers are Jim Beam Highball (\u00a5600), Jagermeister Ice Shot (\u00a5500), Sauza shot (\u00a5500), and Sauza Cooler (\u00a5700). Grab a drink and get loose.<\/p>\n

Bijou also makes a big effort to create a safe environment for women. There are plenty of women-only areas including a sitting space and powder room. There is also a strict no harassment rule which is enforced. Even if the aesthetic is like a neon Thunderdome, all wasteland scavengers will be shown the door.<\/p>\n
