At Tetsunabe Nakasu Honten, the recipe of ground pork, cabbage, leeks, green onions and garlic hasn’t changed since the restaurant first opened. All of the ingredients are made in Japan, and each dumpling is made by hand. The bite-sized dumplings are served on a sizzling iron skillet which ensures they are thoroughly cooked and won’t go cold before you eat them. Many locals like to enjoy a cold beer with their gyoza, so the menu also features many Japanese-style pub favorites like miso tripe stir fry.

Menu (tax excl.): Fried gyoza (7 pcs.) ¥435, soup gyoza (6 pcs.) ¥550, beer ¥530, miso tripe stir fry ¥760 *no table charge
*Prices to change from Oct. 1, 2019 following tax increase

*Foreign language menu: None / Credit cards accepted (Visa, JCB, Mastercard, Amex, Diners) / Reservations possible / Smoking permitted

Tetsunabe, or gyoza served in a cast iron skillet, were first served in food stalls in the 1960s but have since become a Hakata favorite.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

355
5148,5153
post-124712","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-food-drink","tag-guide","tag-local","location-fukuoka-city","location-hakata-ku","location-nakasu","en-US
https://i0.wp.com/www.fukuoka-now.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/09-local-06-tetsunabe-01.jpg?fit=1400%2C934&ssl=1
["GET
