\nThose with the status of Highly Skilled Professional \uff08\u9ad8\u5ea6\u5c02\u9580\u8077\uff09 with 80 points or more at the time of application for a permanent residence permit are required to submit documents proving the income and tax payment status of the applicant for the most recent one-year period.<\/p>\n
\nThe above requirement is not restricted to \u201cHighly skilled professionals\u201d \uff08\u9ad8\u5ea6\u5c02\u9580\u8077\uff09. Those with another status of residence, such as: Engineer\/Specialist in Humanities\/International Services\uff08\u6280\u8853\u30fb\u4eba\u6587\u77e5\u8b58\u30fb\u56fd\u969b\u696d\u52d9\uff09or Spouse or Child of Japanese National\uff08\u65e5\u672c\u4eba\u306e\u914d\u5076\u8005\u7b49\uff09) who have 70 to 80 points and have been continuously residing as a \u201cHighly skilled foreign professionals\u201d \uff08\u9ad8\u5ea6\u4eba\u6750\u5916\u56fd\u4eba\uff09 for 3 years (with 70 points or more) or 1 year (with 80 points or more) are also eligible to apply for permanent residence with submission of correct income tax documentation.<\/p>\n![\"Income](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.fukuoka-now.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/fn_boston-legal-column-dec_2022_cl-002.jpg?resize=1400%2C933&ssl=1\")
