Pen a piece about an experience or place you loved in Kyushu: <em>onsen<\/em>, spots of natural beauty, festivals &#8211; it\u2019s up to you! Then promote your post on SNS. Previous contestants have written on everything from walking around town in a <em>kimono<\/em> to a tour of the whole of Kyushu! <\/p>\n<p>Prizes:<br \/>\nGold: The writer of the best piece will receive a voucher for hotel accommodation and transportation in Kyushu for two people, plus a congratulatory certificate.<br \/>\nSilver: The wordsmith who takes second place will receive a hotel voucher for the Kyushu area and a congratulatory certificate.<br \/>\nBronze: The two contestants who attain joint third place will each receive a selection of local specialty products from Kyushu and a congratulatory certificate. <\/p>\n<p>Competition runs: 2015\/10\/13 ~ 12\/25 (Award ceremony: end of Feb)<br \/>\nWho\u2019s eligible?: Foreigners living in Kyushu and foreigners living overseas who have visited Kyushu. Help spread the word about Kyushu\u2019s <em>onsen<\/em> by voting for your favorite out of 20 pre-selected spots and leaving a comment. There are special prizes available to those who leave the best comment on their chosen <em>onsen<\/em>! The best commenter for each town (some towns have multiple <em>onsen<\/em>) will receive a gift. Want to visit one but can\u2019t decide?
