Homan to pray to the god of <em>en-musubi<\/em> (roughly, \u201cmatchmaking\u201d) for good relationships, romantic or otherwise. In 2012, the juyosho (shrine office) was renovated\u2014juxtaposing modern design with ancient tradition. On the observation deck, you can sit in Jasper Morrison-designed chairs as you take in vistas of Dazaifu. Why not pick up some stylish <em>ofuda<\/em> and <em>omamori<\/em> (good luck charms)? One of these, Atmosphere Chiran Saryo, offers Japanese-French fusion cuisine and green tea from Chiran, Kagoshima Pref. Chiran-\u00adborn interior designer Shinichi Nakamori launched the cafe in Jan. 2015 to spread the word about Chiran tea\u2014the leading tea of Kagoshima, Japan\u2019s second largest tea producer. Come enjoy the elegant interior and the mellow flavor of the tea. Using seasonal ingredients, the chef makes healthy, vegetable-heavy dishes that are full of flavor. You can choose from three types of noodles: <em>tori\u00adpaitan soba<\/em> (mellow broth, \u00a5650), <em>noko tori\u00adpaitan soba<\/em> (rich broth, \u00a5700) or <em>noko tori tsuke\u00admen<\/em> (rich broth with noodles served on the side for dipping, \u00a5750). Enjoy the <em>tsukemen<\/em> with flat noodles, and the <em>soba<\/em> with <em>chijire<\/em> (curly noodles). Flavor your dish with either salt or soy sauce, and then garnish it with green onions and bamboo shoots, or, if you want the full poultry experience, chicken meatballs or chicken char siu. Or how about an egg boiled in Japanese <em>dashi<\/em> (\u00a5100)?
