Our favourite piece is a chair by Belgian designers Sixinch &#8211; its decorative silhouette patterns and slick matte finish quietly exude class. Spanish female designer Particia Urquiola\u2019s delicately made wire chair is another attraction. Once we saw the selection, we couldn\u2019t help dreaming of all the deliciously stylish possibilities. Indeed, dreams proved to be the theme of this month\u2019s visit to ELLE CAF\u00c9 with our guest, Sana Mohamed Ali.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"fn156elle1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7155\/6728728603_9e6a698137_z.jpg?resize=424%2C640\" alt=\"\" width=\"424\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sana made her own dream come true when she recently opened her Sudanese and Middle Eastern restaurant, Kebabooz, in Fukuoka. Having to leave behind in Sudan a successful career in veterinary medicine, Sana settled in Fukuoka with her husband thirteen years ago. &#8220;I love Fukuoka! It&#8217;s a good place to bring up children!&#8221; Sana says, while she proudly showed us her three children&#8217;s photos on her smartphone.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"fn156elle\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7026\/6728728315_099004d0e9_z.jpg?resize=424%2C640\" alt=\"\" width=\"424\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At ELLE CAF\u00c9, she ordered quality Gramourdise macaroons from Kobe and a cup of aged coffee. She smelled her coffee with admiration, in Sudan she used to attend the coffee making rituals from the beginning and breath in the aroma of freshly roasted beans. Coffee time in Sudan is a daily gathering event for friends and neighbors.
