Cafe & restaurant \u2018Boathouse Ohori Park\u2019 located inside Ohori Park in the heart of Fukuoka City is celebrating their 2nd anniversary. Beginning today, March 10, three brand new large swan boats have been added to their fleet of rental paddleboats. The new boats comfortably seat four adults and are ideal for families to enjoy together. The fee for these new boats is \u00a51,600 per 30 mins. and they can be rented on weekdays 11:00~18:00, Sat. ~ Sun. & Hol. 10:00~18:00.<\/p>\n

And to further celebrate the arrival of Spring the high-end restaurant on the second floor, Hananoki, is holding an asparagus fair. Asparagus, a symbol of Spring in Europe is featured in abundance in several of the dishes in the course dinners and lunches. Whereas Europeans mostly enjoy white asparagus this time of year, a green asparagus sourced from select farms in Aso, Kumamoto will be used. We sampled the menu today – and trust us – they are good! Seasonal menus including a pizza-like-focaccia lunch (with salad, soup and dessert \u00a51,200) are on offer at Garden Cafe on the ground floor. At the adjoining Pinkberry shop a \u2018maccha & warabi<\/em> parfait (\u00a5690) is available – a Japan-only exclusive. Finally, a special seasonal bento (lunch boxes), \u2018Ohori honami bento\u2019 (\u00a51,100 & \u00a51,600 two varieties), will be on sale between March 25 and April 9 – ideal for the upcoming hanami<\/em> season!<\/p>\n
