This exhibition celebrates Hakata-ori, a textile that has been cultivated and perfected over a period of 777 years. Find out more about the history of this handicraft and the world of woven textiles through the noh play, “Kureha”. Works created by national living treasure Kisaburo Ogawa and Ogawa Zenzaburo will be out on display, alongside noh theater outfits made from Hakata ori.
