Seven Kurume kasuri studios in Chikugo will be open for viewing to the public to raise awareness about traditional handicrafts. Join dyeing workshops and studio tours and browse discounted items including clothes and accessories. Lunch boxes (bento), sweets as well as clothes and more will also be on sale at the Kumano Community Center. If you see scarecrows clad in kasuri clothing at each studio, be sure to take photos to win a Kurume kasuri pin badge (first 50 persons). Free shuttle bus available.
