Organized by “We Love Tenjin”, Tenjin Ryoenchi (Tenjin Waterworld) returns this year, following its huge success in 2012. Last year 85,000 attended, and this year’s cool waterworld is set to be even bigger and better! Attractions include water mist areas, a 20m water cannon, and new this year is a huge 7.5m tall, 28m long water slide, and mini-train that takes its passengers through water mist. The waterworld is part of the “Kodomo Marugoto Wonderland” (Children’s Wonderland) campaign – a series of summer events aimed at children, held by We Love Tenjin between July and September in Fukuoka. Other events include a horror house and toy exhibition.
