Approximately 400 woodcut works are on display in this first large-scale exhibition of the woodcut movements throughout Asia. The exhibition aims to show the development of woodcut art for each decade from the 1930s to 2010s. It also highlights the small but essential role of woodcutting in the social and historical context of China, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Korea, and Malaysia. There will be various events across the exhibition period including woodcutting workshops, talks, and lectures (some Korean, Malay, and English interpretation available) and gallery tours.
