Hanagen Honzenan

On the 10th floor of Kitte Hakata, you can enjoy soba and other dishes made with Hanagen Honzenan’s flavorful trademark broth in a relaxing atmosphere with a stylish Japanese decor. Most of the menu items contain the essential broth, which is made daily from natural ingredients, including dried mackerel and bonito, and it goes great with both the original hulled buckwheat flour noodles and the fried foods, like the tempura and the thick, juicy cutlets of Miyazaki pork. The high temperature frying locks in the rich flavors and takes the pairing with the subtle soba broth to the next level. There are also 40 kinds of Kyushu-made shochu, so you can enjoy a drink and some crispy tempura before you finish off your evening with a bowl of noodles in true Fukuoka style.

Menu (tax excl.): Dipping soba w/ beef ¥1,075, hot soba w/ duck (3 pcs.) ¥1,112, hot soba w/ tempura ¥1,112, pork cutlet rice bowl set ¥1,000, Makurazaki bonito katsu-toji set ¥1,093
