Kamata Seisakusho


Kamata Seisakusho is nestled among famous temples and shrines a short walk from Hakata Station. Using the name of the ironworks his grandfather ran, owner Takahiro Kamata has been serving up sake and Italian food since opening last year. Updated every other week, the drink menu features rare sake you can only enjoy in Kyushu, and wines carefully selected by Kamata’s business partner Go Umezawa. Try the sake sauce salad, which is made from pesticide-free veggies and a sake-based dressing. The pizza features fresh Japanese mozzarella and raw karasumi (mullet roe) from Nagasaki.
