While running his own hair salon, Yamaguchi became concerned about some of his customers’ sensitivity to soap and shampoo. After extensive research he realized that none of the commercially available products were truly healthy. He decided to develop his own olive oil based products. His research took him to Syria and olive growing countries in Europe. Eleven years ago he planted his first olive trees just outside Fukuoka and this month he opens his very own olive oil products factory in Yakuin. Truly a renaissance man…
