As Fukuokans will often tell you, Fukuoka is just as cool as Tokyo! And here is the fashionable ABC shop to prove it. The Aoyama Book Center has a very nice selection of every kind of art book imaginable. The atmosphere is very stylish, which probably accounts for why there are so many hipsters populating the four floors. If you are into fashion, photography, art, even cooking, interior design or popular novels you should check this bookstore out. Take a seat and chill while reading a book on the second or third floor- or if you want to see some art for yourself, head up to the fourth floor and check out the gallery!

FEATURES
(legend: E-English, F-French, G-German, S-Spanish, I-Italian, C-Chinese, K-Korean, A-Available, NA-not available)

Magazines: E/F/G/S/I
Tabloids: NA
Newspapers: NA
Fiction & Non-Fiction: E
Design Books: E/F/G
Photography Books: E/F/G
Dictionary: NA
Books on Japan: E
Language Books/ELT: NA
Children Books: E
Audio Books: NA
Sciences Books: NA
Art Books: E/F/G
Maps: NA
Games: Only a few
Music Magazines: Only a few
Comics (Western): NA
Mangas: NA
Travel Books: E

ACCESS
Nearest Subway Stn.: Tenjin, 5 min on foot
Open: 11:00～22:00

ADDRESS
Aoyama Book Center 1-4 F, 2-7-14 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka 810-0001
Tel.: 092-722-3330
Fax: 092-722-3335
Email: f-watanabe@aoyamabc.co.jp
HP: http://www.aoyamabc.co.jp/

—————————————————————–

Junkudo
Junkudo – located inside the Media Mall Tenjin shopping building – is a huge bookstore (150,000 books in stock!) including a well-populated foreign print section on 4F.
