Electric-scooter Share Giant Lime to Test Service in Fukuoka

On Aug. 9, KDDI Corporation announced funding for Neutron Holdings, Inc., a US-based startup running an electric-scooter share service. The company will support the entrance of the service into the Japanese market and will carry out a trial in Fukuoka City beginning in September 2019. Neutron Holdings’ kickboard share service, “Lime,” operates in over 100 cities around the world since its launch in 2017. Source: Nikkei Shimbun, 8/9/2019
