The world-famous British toy store Hamleys will set up a new branch in the basement floor of Canal City Hakata. The company plans to open the store before the end of the year to make the most of the Christmas shopping season. Hamleys was first established in 1760 and currently operates 133 stores in 19 different countries. A shop will also open in Yokohama City’s World Porters Vivre at the same time.
