Kumamoto to Test Child Care Consultation Service

Kumamoto Prefecture announced on August 22 that they will test a 24-hour child care consultation service that will make use of AI. The prefecture will use a data analysis program called Albert and work with the application Line to ensure that users can receive an immediate response to their inquiries. The system will be checked and verified numerous times before being made available for public use in April 2019. The service will provide all kinds of information including parenting advice, details about child services, and names of restaurants that offer family discounts. Yoka Boss Kumamoto employees will test the system along with local prefectural and municipal staff in order to analyze the quality of the AI system. Source: Nihon Keizai Shimbun, 8/23/2018
