Leo Mineiro Arrives in Fukuoka

Brazilian forward Leo Mineiro has finally arrived in Fukuoka ready to join Avispa in their efforts to return to the Japanese top league. The signing of Mineiro, who scored 21 goals during his two-year stint with Gifu FC from 2015 to 2016, was made public on June 22. Since his last spell in Japan he has gone on to play for Daegu FC (K1), Busan IPark (K2), and Al-Markhiya SC (Qatar Stars League). The 28-year-old announced via the club’s official website that he is back in Japan to help Avispa Fukuoka gain promotion to back to J1. Source: Gekisaka, 6/22/2018
