LINE and Fukuoka City Collaborate on House Moving Information

As the spring house-moving season approaches, Fukuoka City and LINE Corporation launched a test project to support people moving into and out from the city using an AI chatbot. Users can add the city’s account “Fukuoka City Moving/ Certificate Guide” (福岡市引っ越し・証明案内) and access useful information either by asking questions or by tapping one from the listed categories. The system tells users required documents and procedures with links to more details, as well as opening hours of the city hall and how busy the office will be. The city has been seeking for ways to provide smoother services for people who move during the busiest season as the number of visitors to the city hall during March and April increases by approximately 50% compared to other months. The test will continue until the end of March 2020. Source: Fukuoka City, 3/6/2019
