Ichiran’s lucky “fukuran” eggs go on sale until Setsubun (Feb. 3). Ichiran’s version of kantamago (eggs that are believed to prevent sickness) are soft boiled and lightly salted. Fukuran sell for ¥130 per egg and are available at 74 Ichiran branches throughout Japan. The take out packs, which are priced at ¥520 for four, are on sale at 44 locations.
