Mizutaki Flavored Potato Chips

Calbee have joined forces with Fukuoka Prefecture to develop mizutaki (chicken hot pot) flavored potato chips. These efforts form part of a wider initiative that sees the company collaborate with local governments throughout Japan in order to create snacks inspired by regional cuisine and popular delicacies. An employee from Calbee visited the Fukuoka prefectural government offices on October 18 to present the final product to Governor Hiroshi Ogawa. The chips will be available from October 29 at a range of convenience stores and supermarkets throughout Kyushu. They will also be on sale inside the 11th floor cafe located in the prefectural offices. Source: NHK News Web, 10/18/2018
