On May 23 the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism officially gave permission for Korea Express Air (KEA) to operate new flights from Kitakyushu to Yangyang County, Gangwon Province and Muan County in South Jeolla Province. KEA started the operation of the two new services on May 27. The Kitakyushu-Yangyang route will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, while the Kitakyushu-Muan option will fly on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
