Rizing Zephyr paid a visit to Fukuoka City Mayor Soichiro Takashima on May 21 following their victory in the B. League’s second division championship. The team will now advance to B1 following their play-off victory against the Akita Northern Happinets on May 19 and 20. This is the team’s second consecutive promotion following their victory in B3 last year. Team coach Ryuji Kawai stated that the promotion is a great way to reward all the fans.
