Yesterday, Sunday Oct. 21 the Softbank Hawks defeated the Seibu Lions for the fourth time in five games to win the Climax Series and advance to the Japan Series against the Hiroshima Carp. Yuki Yanagita was named the MVP of the series. He batted in four runs in yesterday’s game alone. The Japan Series will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 27 and Sunday Oct. 28 in Hiroshima and then continue in Fukuoka on the 30th, 31st and Nov. 1. If the Hawks need more wins, the series will return to Hiroshima on Nov. 3 and 4.
