A new SUNQ pass offering unlimited bus travel for three days in southern Kyushu is now available. The tickets cost ¥8,000 when purchased inside Japan and ¥6,000 overseas. The passes can be used on buses arriving in and departing from Kumamoto, Miyazaki, or Kagoshima prefectures. Existing SUNQ Passes valid for the Kyushu region and Shimonoseki proved popular since they were first introduced in 2005 and sold particularly well with tourists from Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The new tickets come as a response to the increasing number of Asian visitors to Kyushu’s southern prefectures. Source: Yomiuri Shimbun, 3/31/2018
