Just 28 years-old, Saho lives by herself in a century-old farm house in a tiny farming village 40 kilometers west of Fukuoka. There she tends two large fields, one for vegetables and another for rice, without the use of chemicals nor machines. Her produce is sold in local markets, or sent by courier to families and shops. Saho began this wholesome lifestyle about four years ago, after living and traveling around Europe and Asia for nearly the same length of time. Saho is registered with WWOOF farm-stay network and often accepts people from around the world to come and stay.
