Warm Winter Getaway – Beppu and Oita
With winter vacation over and spring vacation not even on the radar, thoughts naturally turn to taking a weekend day trip to a warm and relaxing place with great food. We wanted to recommend a Kyushu destination like this that met our high standards, but we didn’t have any time for research–and besides, it was cold outside! Then, in the nick of time, we were saved by a TVQ television program. The “O-Tasuketai” did us a favor and conducted on-site research for us in Oita, the place to chase those winter blues away.
