Our regular readers might remember that it was last January when we began doing cover stories introducing people who are “making a difference” in Fukuoka. The feedback has been so good that we’ve decided to continue the series next year. This month, we introduce Fukuoka’s top fashion model. Being178cm tall made it hard for her to find work in Fukuoka, so she took off to New York City and walked the catwalks for four years. Since returning to Fukuoka she’s gotten married and has had a son – but she’s top in her field and loving it!
