Tribal Dining Cafe

“Located one street south of where Nishi-dori meets Kokutai-dori is the new sister shop to the popular, bright white, open and airy Propeller Drive. Except the new shop, Tattoo, is definitely the naughty sister! Cattle skulls and tribal knickknacks are mounted on the all-black walls, blackened steel tables stand on white gravel floors, and a sexy long counter bar completes the d?cor. Tattoo is three floors of cool lounging and dining space. The third floor is actually the roof and only opens when the weather permits. The surprisingly large food menu features stylized ethnic dishes such as Taiwan-style fried noodles, Rastafarian sliced vegetables, garlic shellfish pasta, enchiladas, and five varieties of spring roll. Every cocktail you can imagine is available at the bar, such as the ?Kem Chaiza? concoction of Vietnamese shochu, coconut and condensed milk. Draft beer is just ?450 a mug. You can also share a pitcher of sangria or pina colada with friends for ?2,500. Tattoo is especially good value at lunchtime, when sets start at ?600. Smoothies, lassi, soft ice cream (pictured here), an English menu and an English-speaking staff are just some of the other reasons why it’s time for you to get over to Tattoo. “
