2016年11月19日（土）・20日（日）の2日間、ルイ・ヴィトン・アメリカズカップ・ワールドシリーズ福岡大会が百道の地行浜で行われました。各国代表合計６各国が参加したハイスビードレースの結果、ランドローバーBARの勝利を間近で体験することができました。
公式発表によると2日間で13,817名（19日6,075名、20日7,742名）が地元チーム、ソフトバンク・ジャパンをはじめ、アジア初開催のアメリカズカップを観戦するために、地行浜に設けられた特設会場に集まりました。

二日間という短い期間でしたが、レースをサポートするチェイスボートに試乗したり、トップチームのインタビューを取材するなど、とても貴重な体験でした。
